The B’nai Tikvah Sisterhood is a dynamic group of women of all ages, backgrounds and interests. From working professionals to stay-at-home moms, ranging in age from 26 to 80. We are single, single parents, married, married with children, divorced and widowed.
The B’nai Tikvah Sisterhood is the collective voice and strength of the women of Congregation B’nai Tikvah. It is our goal to give our group’s multigenerational women a variety of opportunities to become active participants in congregational life and to further the ideals of Judaism.
We aim to fulfill this mission through programs, oneg sponsorship, holiday events, outreach and community projects
designed to nurture and foster learning experiences in the North County area. We meet every month for a fun, casual potluck
dinner and to discuss upcoming events. Sisterhood membership is free for the first year and just $25/year thereafter.
Membership is open to all women who are members of B’nai Tikvah.
“For any of you who are not a part of the Sisterhood, or who have not been to a meeting, I ask you to come to our next one. See for yourself. Come spend a few hours with us. Feel the satisfaction we feel, knowing that we are an integral part of the growth and success of our Temple. Throw in laughter, commonality, and a time for being with just women, and hopefully, you will want to come back for more.” --Honey Haskell, Sisterhood President
